Primary Use:
Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
Also Used For:
May be used in combination with metformin or insulin when single therapy is not enough.

Warnings & interactions
Warnings:
High risk of hypoglycemia, especially if meals are skipped. Use cautiously in elderly and kidney/liver impairment.
Avoid If:
Type 1 diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis, severe liver or kidney disease, or hypersensitivity to sulfonylureas.
Interactions:
Insulin, other antidiabetic drugs, alcohol, beta-blockers, NSAIDs, corticosteroids, and some antibiotics may alter glucose levels.
